Trainer Robin Graham (Gypsy Judy):  "I'm really thrilled for this filly. She has been doing everything perfect in the A. M. She really learned a lot from her maiden win. She's been like a different horse [since then]. The post position was perfect for her today. And the race developed like I hoped it would. She was in a perfect position and when she was asked to run she really responded well. This track probably favored her style a little bit today.

"I don't know what her future holds; but she is bred for the grass and with her dirt ability could leave us a lot of options this spring."

Jockey Horacio Karamanos (Gypsy Judy):  "She did well today. She broke well. When we turned toward home the horse in front of us [Hot City Girl] made me swing wide, made me swing so wide. That took a toll, but I think it hurt [Hot City Girl], too. She finished second. We know this filly has a lot of improving to do. But she's a good horse and she showed that today.

"It's cold, but it didn't make a big difference. Your fingers freeze on a day like this, but the good thing was today there was no wind. If it had been like yesterday [50 mph gusts] we couldn't have raced. We wouldn't have been able to stay on the horses."
