LAUREL, MD – Trainer Lacey Gaudet could have a memorable afternoon Saturday at Laurel Park.

A Kentucky-bred son of Astrology, Dynamic Asset broke his maiden at Laurel in July over a sloppy track and then came back to win an optional claimer in September. The colt will be making his first start in five months in the Miracle Wood.

“He had a little issue that he needed time for, but he never left us,” Gaudet said. “Between the weather and everything we haven’t been able to set him down as much as I would have liked. We’ve always liked him.”

Dynamic Asset meets six other 3-year-olds including Tremont winner He Hate Me and stakes winner Still Having Fun.

The Miracle Wood is another step forward in Gaudet’s training career. After never winning more than 10 races in each of her seven years, Gaudet won 53 races the past two years as well as develop John Jones into a multiple stakes winner.
