Carryovers in Rainbow 6, Super Hi-5 for Eight-Race Card

LAUREL, MD – There will be a carryover of $10,242.21 in the 50-cent Late Pick 5 when live racing resumes with an eight-race program Sunday at Laurel Park.

First race post time is 12:30 p.m.

No one selected all five winners Saturday in the Late Pick 5, which returned $75.85 for tickets with four of five winners. The Late Pick 5, which offers an industry-low 12 percent takeout, covers Races 4-8 Sunday.

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 also went unsolved Saturday, growing the carryover jackpot to $7,251.98 for Sunday (Races 3-8). Tickets with five of six winners Saturday were each worth $88.96.

A carryover of $1,034.09 will be available in the $1 Super Hi-5 for Sunday’s opener.

Notes: Winter meet-leading rider Trevor McCarthy opened Saturday’s program with back-to-back winners aboard Mimic ($5.60) in Race 1 and Tri Try Colors ($7.80) in Race 2. Rosario Montanez also doubled with Baptize the Boy ($5) in Race 3 and Brightest Star ($9.60) in Race 9.
