LAUREL, MD., 03/01/15 --- The Maryland Jockey Club and Laurel Park will host the Champions Handicapping Tournament Saturday, March 7 with the winner earning a berth into the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge.


The winner will also receive two days of championship racing at the 2015 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland, three-day accommodations in Lexington, a discount on seating and food where available for Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge players, and tickets to a VIP Breeders' Cup party.

The total value is $10,000 and there will be a prize schedule of more than $25,000.

There is a maximum of two entries per person and prizes will be paid through 10th place.

The Champions Handicapping Tournament is open to players for $300, which covers a $100 entry fee and $200 bank. Entries will be capped at 300. Players must place a minimum of 10 $20 wagers. Only win, place and show wagers are valid in the tournament. There will be no maximum wager.
