Laurel, Pimlico Open for Simulcasting Monday, Live Racing Cancelled

Entries Taken Monday for Friday and Saturday
 
LAUREL, MD - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today that live racing has been cancelled Monday, but that both Laurel and Pimlico will be open for simulcast wagering.
 
Management has also informed horsemen that Laurel will be open for training Monday morning.
 
"Our crew did a tremendous job preparing the track and facility," said Sal Sinatra, President and General Manager of the Maryland Jockey Club. "Our track is in good shape despite the blizzard conditions we experienced, and our facilities and barn areas experienced no issues."
 
Sinatra said entries for Friday and Saturday will be taken Monday.
