Maryland Jockey Club Appoints Jillian Tullock Racing Secretary

LAUREL, MD – The Maryland Jockey Club announced today that respected racing official Jillian Tullock has been appointed racing secretary at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course.

Tullock worked in nearly every capacity for the Maryland Jockey Club from 1994-2019, including assistant racing secretary under Georganne Hale.

Stronach 5 Returns Friday with Four Tracks & $100,000 Guaranteed Pool

LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5, featuring a $100,000 guaranteed pool and industry-low 12-percent takeout, returns Friday with races from Laurel Park, Santa Anita Park, Golden Gate Fields and Gulfstream Park.

Friday’s sequence begins at 3:49 p.m. with Laurel’s eighth race, a $42,000 allowance contest at seven furlongs led by 4-year-olds Benintendi and Mungojerrie.
