CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: top female trainer in Maryland for eight straight years (1998-2005) …saddled Water Cannon to three stakes victories in 2004 (Miracle Wood, Private Terms and Tesio Stakes) and competed in the Preakness…voted outstanding trainer in the state that year by MTHA… saddled six Maryland Million winners, which ranks seventh on the all-time list…won a pair of races on Maryland’s day at the races twice: 2007 with Regal Solo (Nursery) and Off The Glass (Starter Handicap) and 1998 Perfect Challenge (Lassie) and Miss Angelina (Distaff Starter)…trained multiple stakes winner Perfect To A Tee, winner of three added money races in Maryland in 1999, including the Maryland Million Classic and William Donald Schaefer Handicap (Grade III)…won the 2009 Maryland Million Starter Handicap with Amazin Sun…maiden victory was Turkish Taffy at Laurel Park in 1989.

2010 SEASON: ranked 20th in the local standings with 17 victories, including scores in the Md. Million Nursery with Steady Warrior and the Dahlia Stakes with My Main Starr…Steady Warrior was three-of-five during his 2-year-old campaign with two stakes wins.

Dale Capuano

2010 SEASON: ranked third in Maryland with 38 victories…captured the Pimlico spring meeting with an 11-for-33 stand…Northpoint Costas won a pair of stakes races: Deputed Testamony Stakes on the Preakness undercard and the Maryland Million Starter Handicap…the Maryland Million victory moved Capuano ahead of Bill Boniface and into the top spot in the trainer standings for the event with nine winners.

2010 SEASON: ranked ninth in the local standings with 28 winners…tied for third in the Pimlico spring standings and was eighth in the Laurel Park winter meet, which included a three-win day on Jan. 22…won the Maryland Million Classic with Regal Solo…won eight races in the fall meet and is 40-of-125 during that time period the last three years…overall earned a career-high $900,000…named outstanding trainer by MTHA.

2010 SEASON: had 12 winners in Maryland.

2010 SEASON: 10 of his 22 victories were at the major Maryland tracks, including a win by Concealed Identity in the Maryland Juvenile Championship…saddled two winners at Laurel Park on Oct. 7.

2010 SEASON: ranked fifth in Maryland with 34 wins…finished in the top ten in three of the four meets of the year…won four stakes: Plantation (Private Terms), American Victory (Shine Again), Music Please (Twixt) and Love’s Reason (MD. Juvenile Filly Championship)…won 71 races (tied for 96th nationally).

2010 SEASON: tied for 13th in the local standings with 15 victories…star runner Ben’s Cat won eight-of-nine races as a 4-year-old, including three turf stakes races at Laurel Park (Mister Diz, Maryland Million Turf and Find Handicap)…he made his debut at Pimlico in May after breaking his pelvis as a 2-year old…through 2010 had 6,313 wins (third on the all-time list) for more than $58 million.

Graham Motion

2010 SEASON: won 14 races from 93 starts at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course…finished in the top ten in the Pimlico spring standings…saddled two winners on Apr. 19…won Breeders’ Cup Filly and Turf (Grade I) with Shared Account, who is owned by Sagamore Farm…ranked 47th in North America with 97 victories.

2010 SEASON: won eight of his 10 races in Maryland, including a victory in the Harrison Johnson Stakes with Indian Dance.

John Rigattieri

2010 SEASON: ranked fourth in the local standings with 37 trips to the winners’ circle…finished in a first place tie with Dickie Small in the Laurel Park fall standings and was third during the Laurel winter stand…returned to Suffolk Downs for its meeting, taking the title for the seventh consecutive year.

2010 SEASON: ranked 21st in the local standings with 16 victories…saddled two winners at Laurel Park on Apr. 8 and Nov. 24.

John Salzman, Jr.

2010 SEASON: finished eighth in the local standings with 30 victories from just 98 starters… Twelve Pack Shelly set a 4 ½ furlong track record in her debut on Apr. 8 and ran in the Grade III Kentucky Juvenile against the boys on Kentucky Derby weekend, following the same path as Gator Prowl a year earlier…Twelve Pack Shelly finished the year with four wins in seven starts with stakes victories at Monmouth Park and Charles Town…Gator Prowl won Marshua Stakes.
