A SATURDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE FOR FAMILIES

Bring the family to The Morning Workout Show at Laurel Park on Saturday, June 13.

From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, watch the track come to life as the sun rises and Thoroughbreds begin their morning workouts. It’s a relaxed, behind-the-scenes experience designed for families, first-time visitors, and longtime fans alike.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Morning Welcome

Complimentary sausage biscuit for the first 200 guests (while supplies last)
Enjoy coffee and a pancake station for kids while horses train on the track — a quieter, close-up look at racing most fans never see.
Trackside Grill Breakfast Bar open for additional breakfast options

Meet the Pros

Kids and families will meet Laurel Park jockeys and trainers, ask questions, take photos, and get autographs.

Paddock & Trackside Experience (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM)

Get up close to a horse in the paddock and watch track maintenance in action, including the John Deere tractors that help prepare the racing surface each morning — a favorite moment for younger guests and anyone curious about how the track operates with a mini tour to the Winners Circle.

Kids’ Zone (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
