LAUREL, MD – Left alone to set brisk but comfortable fractions by his standards, Raj Jagnanan’s 8-year-old stakes winner American Sailor cruised to his 14th career victory and first in nearly a year with a front-running one-length triumph Monday at Laurel Park.

Stronach 5 Has 71 Winning Tickets, Each Worth $1,918

LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5, featuring races from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park, Golden Gate Fields and Santa Anita Park, returned Friday with 71 winning tickets each worth $1,918.90.
The largest price in the sequence came in Laurel’s eighth race, the third leg of the sequence, when Outofthepark returned $15.60. The final two legs of the sequence from Golden Gate and Santa Anita were won by favorites.

LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park will begin accepting out of town horses for its live race programs beginning Friday, June 12, the Maryland Jockey Club announced today.
Shippers coming in to Laurel may be accompanied by one trainer and one groom only, and must report to the track’s receiving barn.
