2010 SEASON: won eight races at Laurel Park, all with trainer Larry Murray, including the Harrison Johnson Stakes with Indian Dance.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Foufa’s Warrior finished seventh in the 2003 Preakness and won the Maryland Juvenile Championship a year earlier…in 2002 won 13 stakes races with seven different horses and finished 53rd on the North American money list with $1.3 million…La Reine’s Terms won five added money races, each at a different track…bred nine stakes winners in 2002 , including seven who competed in the Bender colors…in 2003 tied Michael Gill for the most stakes wins in the state with seven and bred six stakes winners, including five that ran in the Bender colors…other favorite horses include Don’s Choice (2nd in Jim Dandy), Secret Odds (2nd in the Champagne) and multiple stakes winners Promenade Girl (Grade II Molly Pitcher winner in ’06), King’s Nest and Clever Power…owned Southern Appeal who ran in the 1986 Kentucky Derby…had a special bond with jockey Kent Desormeaux who rode Snow King and King Snow.

PERSONAL: Sondra and her husband Howard are partners in the Saratoga Friends Stable…the couple and Bob Leonard own Glade Valley Farm in Frederick.
