LAUREL, MD – The Maryland Jockey Club has canceled Thursday’s nine-race program at Laurel Park because of the lingering effects of a winter storm earlier in the week that brought rounds of sleet, freezing rain and snowfall to the area.
Laurel, Pimlico, Rosecroft and the MJC OTB Network remain open for simulcasting.
Live racing is set to resume Friday with a nine-race program with first race post of 12:25 p.m.
