Rainbow 6 Carryover of $18,132 for Saturday Program

Miss Auramet Targets Fourth Straight Win in Race 8 Feature

LAUREL, MD – In addition to a 10-race card featuring full fields and five contests over its world-class turf course, Laurel Park will have a carryover jackpot of $18,132.97 in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 for its Saturday, May 30 program.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved during the last live program in Maryland March 15 at Laurel Park. First race post time Saturday is 12:40 p.m.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence spans Races 5-10 and is kicked off with a waiver maiden claiming event for 3-year-olds and up sprinting 5 ½ furlongs on the main track that drew a field of 16 including four also-eligibles.

Races 6, 8 and 10 are scheduled for the Dahlia and All Along turf course layouts, attracting a total of 47 horses including alternates main-track-only entries. The feature comes in Race 8, a $47,000 third-level optional claiming allowance for fillies and mares 3 and up at 5 ½ furlongs on the All Along, where Miss Auramet is the 2-1 program favorite to extend her win streak to four races.

In the Rainbow 6, the carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 60 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 40 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
