LAUREL, MD – Starting with the Kentucky Derby (G1) Saturday, May 4 from Churchill Downs, fans can reserve their spot for any or all of three Triple Crown days in the Silks Room at Laurel Park.

Tickets are $15 for one day or $40 for all three days, which include the Derby, the 144th Preakness Stakes (G1) Saturday, May 18 at legendary Pimlico Race Course, and Belmont Stakes (G1) Saturday, June 8 at Belmont Park.

Each ticket includes a souvenir live racing program and an assigned seat in a private betting carrel in the Silks Room, featuring more than 50 HD televisions and state of the art Jumboscreen.

Live Racing Returns Thursday to for Spring Meet Closing Weekend

Laurel Park’s 19-day spring meet comes to a close this weekend starting with the return of live racing Thursday, May 2 featuring carryovers in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 and $1 Super Hi-5.

First race post time for Thursday’s 10-race program is 1:10 p.m.

The Rainbow 6, with a carryover of $1,517.24 from Sunday’s live program, spans Races 5-10 and includes three races over Laurel’s world-class turf course which drew a total of 35 entries, an average of 11.7 horses per race.

    There is a carryover of $1,251.95 in the Super Hi-5 for Thursday’s opener, a 4 ½-furlong maiden special weight sprint over the main track for 2-year-olds that attracted a field of 10.

    Trevor McCarthy, winner of the last two Laurel Park meets, holds a commanding lead in the jockey standings with 21 victories, 13 more than Jevian Toledo and Julio Correa. Mike Trombetta, who will send out Win Win Win in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby (G1), has an 11-8 edge over Claudio Gonzalez in the trainer standings.
