LAUREL, MD – There were 60 winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5 with each ticket returning $1,935.80.

LAUREL, MD – Dennis A. Drazin’s multiple Grade 3-winning millionaire Sunny Ridge got a ground-saving trip under jockey Trevor McCarthy and split horse in deep stretch to capture the $100,000 Richard W. Small Stakes by three-quarters of a length Saturday at Laurel Park.

LAUREL, MD – There were 108 winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5, with each winner receiving $824.90.

Once again, the Stronach 5, featuring races from Laurel Park, Golden Gate Fields and Gulfstream Park as well as an industry-low 12-percent takeout, paid generously when considering the highest payoff was $10.20 and Taste’s Legend, the winner of the second leg from Golden Gate, returned $2.40.

Beginning at 1 p.m. ET on December 2 and running for one week, the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium (RMTC), an industry 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will auction off halters of history-making racehorses, stallions and broodmares on its eBay page.

All proceeds from this auction go to the RMTC’s Tactical Research Program, which funds studies focused on the identification and detection of illicit substances impacting racing integrity and safety.
