The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved on Friday, growing the jackpot carryover to $7,718.75. Tickets with four of six winners were worth $130.40.

Laurel Opens Sunday With Mandatory Payouts

LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park is scheduled to open Sunday with a nine-race program and mandatory payouts of its Rainbow 6, Late Pick 5, Late Pick 4 and Super Hi 5.
 
Due to the extreme weather conditions, the track has been forced to cancel its live programs since Dec. 30. The facility has remained opened for simulcasting wagering.
 
The Rainbow 6 carryover entering Sunday’s program is $3,998 while the Super Hi 5 carryover is $2,341.

LAUREL, MD – Edmond ‘Eddie’ Gaudet, a trainer of more than 1,700 winners and patriarch of one of Maryland’s best known and respected racing families, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, Jan. 4. He was 87.
